The gift of anger

Interesting view. My problem with anger is it gives me far more energy than I can use productively. It tends to make me feel out of balance which is displeasurable to me.

I've used it as a fuel for so long that that's all that I can see it as...

It can create that imbalance of which you speak. It can create so much energy that it starts to feed upon it's own tail... I have to be careful about that.

No significant social change was ever brought about without the gift of anger. Anger is valid, useful and necessary at times. Anger IS a gift.

Anger boils and motivates - it urges and beckons...
Anger is a force, unmovable.
Anger is an object, unstoppable.

And the reverse... The flip...

Anger tastes like a promise in your mouth.
