Sarah and I were looking at this the other night and it literally took away our collective breath. You, sir, have a gift. It brings me great joy to see you express that gift in a way that others can view and bask in it's glow.
My thanks for the kind words... I'm not great at accepting compliments, so I'll just say thanks - and this:
This poem could only mean something to someone that felt similarly... Think about people we know who are truly unhappy - or ones that haven't met someone that makes them feel special... They would read it, and say "yeah, right" - or worse...
I often think that this one MIGHT be one that I could get published. It has the right feel to it, and it has broad enough appeal. Seems that a number of folks that I know feel similarly...
