When math becomes art

1/4/11 - Is there an equation that creates correct artistic outcomes and parameters? Is there a golden ratio of sylables in a poem, that will unlock deeper meaning and greater values of truth -

When you allow math to become art, what happens? Can you have art become math? Can words be scrapped, processed, and reformatted to 1's and 0's to fulfill a greater good?

This post frustrated me. Being a bit of a math fan, I searched for some evidence of an equation, but didn't find any. Am I too dense? Is the method for deriving the length of the bottom of an isosceles triangle hidden in there somewhere?

Damn you Cannibal! I'm still looking.

Fibonacci is as close as I can come to understanding that math and art have common ground. Mandelbrot, and that level of brilliance, are born out of that set of ideas - and to see it...

It humbles me.
It awes me.

It makes me see math as some part of art, but is it the hand that holds the brush - is it the canvas upon which magic is made - or is it some connection within?
