 12/17/10 - Again, poor resolution on this one made it a little fuzzy. Not super sharp text... BUT in this case I loved it. It worked with the theme. The whole thing had a Jello Biafra feel to it for me, and that can't be all bad...

Expectations are suffocating.

Expectations can be daunting, and oppressive. Sometimes they are worst when they are my own expectations, because I know that I cannot escape them - I will have to confront them, like a masked murderer in the b-rated horror film… Like the pasty faced geek who has to stand up to the bully.

Manage the expectations. Manage the input, and the output. Remember that the truth of all things is in the median, not in the extremes.

Reality isn't the high points, nor the doldrums - it is in the middle ground where we have perspective of both the valleys and the peaks. Where we can see how high we have been, and how low we can go.
