Tradition

Wonderful picture from an old friend. I had put out the call for folks to share their art, and she replied by saying that the closest thing she had ever done to creating art was when she arranged a fruit plate to resemble a turkey for a family Thanksgiving meal. That's art folks. Creating is art. Being creative is art. It doesn't take a fancy site, or an overwhelming sense of hubris (both of which I seem to have)... Just heart.

You couldn't help but feel the good family feeling in the picture - I looked at it, and the words just popped into my head. That's the magic of a great picture - it can inspire, again and again…
