This one freaked me out when I saw it. It reminded me of the nightmare sequences in An American Werewolf in London.
I remember that movie, those scenes in particular, scaring the f**k out of me as a kid. I was a disturbing pleasure to relive those moments of lost childhood (not so lost apparently).
I also love that if I look at it a certain way, I think those monsters are trapped behind glass that is fogged from the flames and they wrote that with their fingers like condensation on a car window. I can almost hear the squeaking sound it would make in an otherwise quiet room. /shudders/
