one leaf tree

I drew this in an app (Zen Brush) - I painted it in another (ToonPAINT) - and I tweaked it a bit... I'm pretty proud of it, as - I really cannot draw. I'm surprised by how well it came out.

Merci... Not bad for an art hack, right?

And you say you cannot draw? I don't think it matters if your tool is a brush or an app. You make art, sir. And in this case, a beautiful drawing. Bravo.

Does the poem come across as if I am saying that I have very little in my life?

I hope not... The One Leaf Tree idea is a Buddhist concept that reminds us that the things we have are always better than the things that we covet, or the things that we once had...

It is meant to be a celebration.

No… I didn't think you were saying that at all.

I think the concept is fundamentally flawed though. If you have to tell yourself you're satisfied then you're really not.

People celebrate in different ways I suppose.
